FRESH START

 well hey you guysss....

didn't think it'd be too long until i had another post up. this is just  little update.

most of summer i lacked inspiration for this here blog of mine, but luckily i have had a fresh inspiration and i'm so ready to start posting for you all again!!

i've had a lot of time to think about my blog.

i think for a while i got really caught up on the looks, I was focusing on that more than the content i posted - not cool bella - i realise after wasting time that looks aren't that important if the quality of your posts and writing and photos is good!

I am going to continue posting normally (if i can find time - we're already loaded up with tons of homework) for any new comers - i post about fashion, food, photography, travel etc. i have so much planned for you all, lots of posts to catch up on and photos to show you and things to tell you!! so so so stoked for a fresh new year of blogging!

(quick side note: any of you seen Moana? i saw it with Georgina and i'm ADDICTED!! most amazing movie!!!)

hola again

well hey you guys, its been sooooo long ahye? it's kinda sad but i needed to take some time to get back into the school headspace. and i have also been feeling a bit all over the place at the moment, no creativity, no inspiration, no idea where i wanna go, but hopefully that'll all change pre soon and i'll get back in the creative vibes soon coz ahye look summer is just round le corner and i think it's fair to say that we're all pre stoked bout it!

i still need to update all yah guys with more pics from when brooke and i caught up because let me tell yah now there is   s o   m a n y   photos.

i've also had a bit of an art block which isn't always fun, actually never fun until you come back full of inspiration...hopefully next weekends surf sesh will cure me of the art block and i'll come back fresh as everr with lotsa art.

the little things edit // 01

hello lovely ones!
i'm so excited because i have  new series here at miss bella boo blog! i have been pondering over names for a while now but with help from my favourite hooray georgina we came up with 'the little things edit' (and credit to chessie with the idea of 'the.........edit'!) it's about focusing on my favourite things, they don't have to be big things, just little things. and every now and then i'll do a post focusing on my favourite things like; beauty, art supplies, fashion, food, anything!
the first post of this new series features the products from Girl Lane! recently i was lucky enough to go to not 1 but 2 photoshoots with the lovely team from pop up collective! Girl Lane is a brand that focuses on tween/teen skincare,haircare and body care. they sent me this package that arrived on my doorstep on friday arvo! I get to review these products for you all and all i can say is W O W! they all smell amazing! and they work a treat!

 girl lane high protection suncreen and paw paw lipbalm// the paw paw lipbalm just smell like a bunch of tropical fruit got smashed into your face! and even better for someone with cracked and dry lips this lipbalm helps hydrate and smooth the lips and it lasts hours! as for the suncreen, i put some on my face when i went out to play tennis on saturday and i usually get burnt at the top of my cheeks even if i have sunscreen on but i didn't get burnt this time! i definitely recommend these products!

 girl lane shampoo and conditioner // i tried these out on friday night and they smell sooo nice, it was a tad hard to rinse them out but once i did and then waited for my hair to dry it was silky smooth and shiny, and the bottles are perfect size seen as though i have to wash my hair every 2 days i go through shampoo very quickly!

 girl lane aloe vera wipes, face wash and hydrating mist // i has a sniff of these wipes on the weekend and once again it smells just delightful!! and i bet they work a treat! i tried the gentle face wash on saturday and i woke up on sunday with the softest skin i've probably ever had! and the hydrating mist is definitely a favourite of mine! on hot days after sport you can just spray some onto your face and its so refreshing!

 girl lane detangling spray and hair sparkle// for someone who gets about 100 knots in her hair a day this spray is excatly what i needed! it worked a treat and again it smells AH-MAZING, and the hair shine looks sooo pretty when you swivel it around the bottle, i think this one will be great for special occasions!

 girl lane body wash and moisturizer // i use body was all the time, usually ones from the body shop so it was a nice change! heh heh, its doesn't have a strong scent which is actually quite nice and just a small amount will cover your whole body and leave it super clean! and the moisturizer is really good to use in the morning and before bed, again it doesn't have a scent which is nice and has left my legs and arms nice and soft! 

 girl lane bubble bath// i haven't tried this one yet but by its smell, i can bet our bottom dollar it will be awesome. i think i might try it tonight, yeah i'll try it tonight!

girl lane face moisturizers // i have never used a face moisturizer but i know that i will definitely use these again! i used the one on the right after the face wash and woke up with supperrr soft skin.

Girl lane will be launching in stores sometime November and you will definitely have to get some of they're products, because i can tell you now, they are amazing!

i just went to melbourne for a mini holiday with my family! i love melbourne so so so much! we walked around, id lots of shopping, saw an exhibition and so much more! we also had some delicious pizza for dinner and potato cakes for lunch!

Cafe Adventures // 01

hello!

i am so excited because i have a new series coming to my blog!

i call it: cafe adventures! so basically it will be about the all cafes i visit each week, and reviews about them! (was service good, good food, ice waiters etc)

i am a bit nervous because i visit so many cafes!! and i'm going to melbs next week so excpect one from there!! 

the first one in this series is: The Pickers Union!

now, if you've ever been the the powerhouse or the vintage markets you'll know where this is. it's a small kind of 'vintage-y' cafe with a couple of tables inside and out.

at the pickers union you have to go up to the counter and order but in my opinion its definitely worth it,

here is what we ordered:

mum= double shot latte, toast with 2 fried eggs and tomatoes (pictured above)

dad= latte, egg and bacon toast

me= ice chocolate and warm home made jam doughnut muffin thing

lets start with the ice chocolate...oohh eemmm geee!!

they serve it too you in a glass mug sort of thing and theres chocolate sauce on the sides and ice cream lumps. i was very happy they left the ice cream lumps in there.. they're the most important part.

and the jam doughnut.. that was ah-ma-zing!! it was warm and covered in sugar (i am being very healthy!! heh heh) and when you bite in theres warm raspberry jam. de-lic-io-us.

as for the 'real' breakfasts the bacon was free range as well as the eggs and that is the most important thing for me(!) ad was cooked to perfection, i dont acctually eat eggs but i could tell they were! and the sourdough toast= to-die-for!

the waiters were really lovely and you could tell they were having a nice time.

and what you do once you've finished your coffee is you can walk a few metres and your at the vintage markets! lots of 'interesting' stuff there heh heh!!

i would DEFINITELY recommend the pickers union. it is a very cosy cafe with fabulous grub.
