PORTRAIT // BROOKE

 HEYYYY guys how are yah,
i've been ok, not the best year i've had but y'know things can only get better right?
thought about doing a blog post today cos i've been D Y I N G to show you some portrait photography of brooke! portrait photography is probably one of my favourite things, taking the photos and being in them, so basically i love everything about it!! these photos have been edited too. also, i know i don't post much anymore and in every post i talk about this but blogging hasn't been my main priority at the moment and don't get me wrong i love it so much and i really wanna post more but its a bit hard at the moment. but there will always be posts just not as frequently. but quality over quantity i like to say! and there'll be heaps of photos and posts later on in the year when i'm travelling!
when brooke came over we went to the botanic gardens and experimented with portrait photography.
i'm super happy with how they turned out and i really wanna take more!! just gotta find someone i can take photos with abhahah!

hola again

well hey you guys, its been sooooo long ahye? it's kinda sad but i needed to take some time to get back into the school headspace. and i have also been feeling a bit all over the place at the moment, no creativity, no inspiration, no idea where i wanna go, but hopefully that'll all change pre soon and i'll get back in the creative vibes soon coz ahye look summer is just round le corner and i think it's fair to say that we're all pre stoked bout it!

i still need to update all yah guys with more pics from when brooke and i caught up because let me tell yah now there is   s o   m a n y   photos.

i've also had a bit of an art block which isn't always fun, actually never fun until you come back full of inspiration...hopefully next weekends surf sesh will cure me of the art block and i'll come back fresh as everr with lotsa art.

B + B

last weekend was in-freaking-sane!! i finally got to meet the amazing Brooke from utterly brooke lea blog after over a year of talking everyday on the instaG and skyping and sending the occasional letter. we had and unreal time with some sick photo taking and other stuff!

 before i tell you about our weekend you probably noticed that i changed my name on instaG. I am changing my site name because for a while i have felt like a bit of a change and that the name miss bella boo didn't suit me as much as it did last year and i wasn't happy with it and it just wasn't helping my inspiration and creativity sooooo i changed it!! Bella By The Sea! i hope you all love it as much as i do and say HOLA to this new chapter because it feels like decaaades since my last chat, ahha not reallly but yah know.

 now onto the meetup! on saturday i went to brooke's house to meet her...we could not stop laughing it was so surreal! like, we were seeing each other in person not just on a screen!! ahh it was craazeh! after all the hyperventilating and insane-ness of seeing each other we chatted for a bit and went out to take photos, GoPro shots and polaroids. (all the photos in this post are go pro shots) we came back to look at our shots then had a minor accident which involved stepping in a nest of giant (legit giant people!!) bull ants and me getting bitten by one and watching it swell up to the size of a golf ball and go all red, we got changed to go out to dinner with her family and my mum and a local play sorta thing which was so lovely (but it ran very late which got our heads muddled up with daylight savings time)

 on the sunday we went to a wetland area near brooke's house and walked along the (partially) flooded boardwalk and got our feet and saltwater sandals completely soaked...... Brooke, her sister and i came back to her house and made some delish lunch and looked through some photos then headed out for more shoots!(comin soooon ahye)  we went out to see the sunset which was kinda non existent due to rain and clouds but fun none the less! then came back and made aaaamazing pizza's

WINTER

hope your week was good times, i know mine was but I also know that me weekend is gonna be even better, i'm stoked. First of all can i say a big thank you and cheers for 10.3K page views/reads whatever yah like to call it, its pretty insane tbh. but a big thank you for that yah lovelies.

have any of you guys noticed how cold it is?! mannnn it's freezing..for someone who plays soccer every morning i can assure you that winter is DEFINITELY coming!! and fast. (which is good because it means that tomorrow is exactly 2 weeks until my birthday!!! week (12th june)). the weather is acting like i'm back in London winter...You wake up to see that outside the sun is shining bright and the sky is blue...but then you walk outside and it's like 13 degrees (celsius) and freezing.

enough about the weather! you know what else i love? Blogging...well you already knew that, but what i meant is new bloggers! i love watching new bloggers learn and watch them and their blogs grow! I also love helping them! haha, anywho.. Today I have a Collab with the lovely new blogger ayla from away with ayla blog! she's started blogging a little while ago and is already great at it! (unlike i was when i started. i HIGHLY suggest you DO NOT go look at my old posts...)  we have a little post for you today with our current winter go to's.

LOST GIRL

hola!

sorry for my absence lately! recently has been some pretty hectic times for sure!! Lots of projects to complete and assignments, tests to study for etc. but when i did this shoot it was v nice to be back in nature and fresh air, lets hope i can get back into the blogging groove again soon!

it has been wayyyyy too long since my last fashion shoot! c'mon Bella!! but at last i have a new one...and a hella fun one for sure! 

Recently the label 'The Lost Girls' got in contact with me and asked if i'd like some of there new season pieces to photograph for yah. I think we can agree that i'd be pretty damn crazy to say no.

So the lovely team at The Lost Girls (which I am assuming you've heard of, but incase yah haven't yet.. The Lost Girls are an awesome brand of girls clothing, their main retailers are Myer stores which you can check out round Aus) sent me through some lovely pieces which i love love LOVE

There is the 'Paper Wings Cardigan' which is super warm and toasty -perfect for the colder months- it is a perfect blue colour (and if you know me, you know that blue is one of my absolute number 1 fave colour).

Then there is the 'Cherry On Top Blouse' which is a lovely deep red colour and goes perfectly with the cardi, it's made with a really nice material thats very 'flowy' and soft... I am really bad at describing things...
