HEYYYY guys how are yah,
i've been ok, not the best year i've had but y'know things can only get better right?
thought about doing a blog post today cos i've been D Y I N G to show you some portrait photography of brooke! portrait photography is probably one of my favourite things, taking the photos and being in them, so basically i love everything about it!! these photos have been edited too. also, i know i don't post much anymore and in every post i talk about this but blogging hasn't been my main priority at the moment and don't get me wrong i love it so much and i really wanna post more but its a bit hard at the moment. but there will always be posts just not as frequently. but quality over quantity i like to say! and there'll be heaps of photos and posts later on in the year when i'm travelling!
when brooke came over we went to the botanic gardens and experimented with portrait photography.
i'm super happy with how they turned out and i really wanna take more!! just gotta find someone i can take photos with abhahah!

cafe adventures // 02
hello hello!
so a little while ago I started a series where i was able to show you my favourite cafes around my local area and give reviews! well today i present the second in 'cafe adventures' ! the cafe i'll be reviewing is 'King Of The Castle' . first of all let me just say that this is my most favourite cafe ever! i remember when it was just a tiny little cafe with a few customers and i look at it now and its turned into one of the most popular cafes! it has a outdoor area at the front and an indoor area full of ambience and positive vibes and i'm instantly happy walking in there!
what i had was a yummy organic cola and a delicious shortbread jam bikkie thing, they have the most amazing morning tea snack things! and they always have a little pop up store sort of thing, it used to be pop up plants and now it's something else.
the service is really good aswell! and it's a beautiful area to sit and it's pretty pretty! heh heh
all in all this would have to be my most favourite cafe! just its positive vibes, delicious food and drink, awesome places to sit and yeah! you should most definitely visit king of the castle and follow their social medias! i have so many exciting things planned so stay tuned people!

Cafe Adventures // 01
hello!
i am so excited because i have a new series coming to my blog!
i call it: cafe adventures! so basically it will be about the all cafes i visit each week, and reviews about them! (was service good, good food, ice waiters etc)
i am a bit nervous because i visit so many cafes!! and i'm going to melbs next week so excpect one from there!!
the first one in this series is: The Pickers Union!
now, if you've ever been the the powerhouse or the vintage markets you'll know where this is. it's a small kind of 'vintage-y' cafe with a couple of tables inside and out.
at the pickers union you have to go up to the counter and order but in my opinion its definitely worth it,
here is what we ordered:
mum= double shot latte, toast with 2 fried eggs and tomatoes (pictured above)
dad= latte, egg and bacon toast
me= ice chocolate and warm home made jam doughnut muffin thing
lets start with the ice chocolate...oohh eemmm geee!!
they serve it too you in a glass mug sort of thing and theres chocolate sauce on the sides and ice cream lumps. i was very happy they left the ice cream lumps in there.. they're the most important part.
and the jam doughnut.. that was ah-ma-zing!! it was warm and covered in sugar (i am being very healthy!! heh heh) and when you bite in theres warm raspberry jam. de-lic-io-us.
as for the 'real' breakfasts the bacon was free range as well as the eggs and that is the most important thing for me(!) ad was cooked to perfection, i dont acctually eat eggs but i could tell they were! and the sourdough toast= to-die-for!
the waiters were really lovely and you could tell they were having a nice time.
and what you do once you've finished your coffee is you can walk a few metres and your at the vintage markets! lots of 'interesting' stuff there heh heh!!
i hope you like my first 'cafe adventures' ad i would love to here your feedback on it! just look on my contacts page for details!
i would DEFINITELY recommend the pickers union. it is a very cosy cafe with fabulous grub.
until next time
bella xx
