PORTRAIT // BROOKE

 HEYYYY guys how are yah,
i've been ok, not the best year i've had but y'know things can only get better right?
thought about doing a blog post today cos i've been D Y I N G to show you some portrait photography of brooke! portrait photography is probably one of my favourite things, taking the photos and being in them, so basically i love everything about it!! these photos have been edited too. also, i know i don't post much anymore and in every post i talk about this but blogging hasn't been my main priority at the moment and don't get me wrong i love it so much and i really wanna post more but its a bit hard at the moment. but there will always be posts just not as frequently. but quality over quantity i like to say! and there'll be heaps of photos and posts later on in the year when i'm travelling!
when brooke came over we went to the botanic gardens and experimented with portrait photography.
i'm super happy with how they turned out and i really wanna take more!! just gotta find someone i can take photos with abhahah!

LITTLE TOWN

hola guys,

decided this morning to welcome the school holidays with a pre special post!! this post would have to be a favourite, its a bit of a mix between fashion post and portrait / photography. the outfit features a staple top, a formal-dressy- kind of skirt that I made, and some basic tan heels. 

i love these photos so so much, THANKYOU Jasmine (saltwater strawberry) for the lovey day and the lovely photos! 

so we finished semester one yesterday! seems crazy to be honest! it still feels like the start of term! but i am stoked for three weeks of no school and no homework. not so stoked about 3 week break from soccer though...oh well.

 and it's nearly the end of june, which means we're already closer to summer. don't get me wrong i love winter for a number of reasons; my birthday (12th june), hot Milo, movie nights/days, and winter clothes (not so fond of getting up early in the freezing cold for school or soccer, or the rain and wind!) but summer is just my favourite!!

BEACH DAZE

hola friends

i'm back this sunday with a new post for you all! i love having so many posts to ah post because of the amount of pictures i have! this summer just gone was aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamazing, i freaking love summer it's gotta be my most favourite season. i spent so much of this summer snapping underwater pictures, i love them so so so much, i love the element of surprise because you just have to go underwater and quickly snap some pictures before coming up to the air and you don't know what they'll look like until you get home! my favourite time to take underwater photos is when the sky is blue and reflecting on the water and the waters super clear and blue and ahhh my god so perfect!!

Just before christmas (literally christmas eve eve i think) Jas came round to my house and lucky we live down the street from the beach we walked across and even though it was windy- not really there was a breeze and the water was a tad chilly we braved it and jumped in because geeeez we were very determined to take as many underwater shots as we could!! the water was clear but not as blue so i had to end up editing them a bit but in actual fact i think they turned out ok! they may not be that crystal light blue i love but i still love how these turned out, they feel almost vintage-y with the colours and the slight blue to the photos (and that lovely element of surprise i talked about earlier bahahha)

i think you can all understand now how much i love underwater photography!! its my most favourite thing to do in summer! one more thing to mention is that hella amazing logo i added up there!! well that was designed and made by the lovely brooke from Utterly Brooke Lea Blog (make sure to follow her on insta too at @utterlybrookelea ) and i love love love the logo so much so big thanks to you brooke!!  i congratulate you if you were bothered to read all this, scroll down and check out  (some) of the underwater photos jas (salt water strawberry blog) and i took in summer holidays xx
