LITTLE TOWN

hola guys,

decided this morning to welcome the school holidays with a pre special post!! this post would have to be a favourite, its a bit of a mix between fashion post and portrait / photography. the outfit features a staple top, a formal-dressy- kind of skirt that I made, and some basic tan heels. 

i love these photos so so much, THANKYOU Jasmine (saltwater strawberry) for the lovey day and the lovely photos! 

so we finished semester one yesterday! seems crazy to be honest! it still feels like the start of term! but i am stoked for three weeks of no school and no homework. not so stoked about 3 week break from soccer though...oh well.

 and it's nearly the end of june, which means we're already closer to summer. don't get me wrong i love winter for a number of reasons; my birthday (12th june), hot Milo, movie nights/days, and winter clothes (not so fond of getting up early in the freezing cold for school or soccer, or the rain and wind!) but summer is just my favourite!!

BLUE, BLUE AND RED

HEY yah guys,
i am BACK and finally F I N A L L Y have a new fashion shoot for you all!! i have missed shooting so much and it was sooo good to catch up with jas (salt water strawberry ) and shoot some posts.
this post consists of some of my current favourites. thanks to our favourite time of the year (HOLIDAYSSS) mum and i were able to pop into melbourne and do a bit of shopping for the year ahead. Honestly i don't think i can go to melbourne without visiting the one and only UniQlo - that store is just so good, thats where i got the top featured in these photos!! usually i wouldn't wear the sleeves rolled up but as on this day the sun was out and it was kinda hot i did, because i still wanted to shoot this post (dedication bahahha). i was lucky to grab this top on sale, they had a hundred designs of this top and i was originally going to get my usual black/blue and white stripes but i thought i'd change it up so i went for navy blue (surprise surprise) and thin red stripes which i wasn't overly sure about at first but ended up absolutely loving!! and same goes for this oh so amazing navy blue (its an obsession) corduroy skirt, usually i am not one for corduroy - never liked it at all- but we saw this skirt and it looked pre nice so i tried it on and what-do-yah-know i loved it, plus the added fact that it's not denim which means i can wear it with my favourite denim jacket when its colder!!. I love this outfit so much as it is utterly perfect for this time of year - autumn- one day its normal and hot, the next its non stop rain, you can wear this outfit as it is in this post or pair it with tights and boots and a denim jacket!! definitely a top outfit for me this winter.
so good to be back with a new fashion post and many more to come!!

ahh i'm just casually sitting here eating a vegemite sandwich reminiscing on the beautiful weekend i got to meet utterly brooke lea (check out her hella good blog n insta you won't regret it) and thinking about how much fun we had!! ahh good times.  recent times though have been kinda hectic n crazy - why i haven't been able to post these as soon as i'd like- but i have a few VEEERRRYY exciting things coming up this year that are keeping me going!

this fashion shoot has got to be my favourite yet....brooke you insane photographer!! (seriously though can we just take a moment to appreciate how stunning these pics are). it features my casual white shirt ... which now isn't so white as I did a screen print stencil onto it heheh. and the skirt OH THE SKIRT! my oh my oh my isn't it just amazing? a thing to behold, i feel like i should be holding it up to everyone singing the circle of life (haha that lion king reference...no? ok just me) and brooke was kind enough to give it to me ( 'hand-me-down' dress hells YES!) and it's originally from pare basic. also what were my go to boots last winter except they now don't fit me anymore :(( also-how could i forget- brooke's infamous felt grey hat! which we both are kinda a lot in love with hehehe
