KEEPING OUR BEACHES CLEAN

the beach has always been my favourite place, and the ocean as well. and what hurts me most is when i see people disrespecting these places and treating them as though they don't even care at all. leaving litter everywhere, taking our oceans and our beaches for granted. so much rubbish and litter that you see on the beach end up in the oceans, and killing the marine life in it.
recently my friend and fellow beach an ocean lover were on the beach when i noticed a massive bit of ghost rope we picked it up and as we kept walking found more and more rubbish on the beach.
all this rubbish you see on the beach ends up in the ocean, did you know that it is estimated that 13000 pieces of rubbish, plastic and litter is found in every square kilometre of the ocean? with over 8 million pieces of plastic entering the sea EACH YEAR!! 60% of marine rubbish is made up of plastics and around 100,000 marine animals (and turtles) are getting killed by this each year!! we must put a stop to this because together we are future and we need to spread the word about the damage humans are doing to our oceans and marine life.

this was all the rubbish we found in a radius of about 200 metres.

and this was from 100 metres

i am currently working on more art, film and photography on this for a project so stay tuned
