oh succulents, succulents, succulents! where do i begin! lets just say that i'm a bit obsessed with them! i love the colour the patterns and the way you can just wiggle the old leaves off and grow a whole new succulent from it! just plain awesome!
today i am going to share some of my best tips for looking after and growing your succulents at home!
photo credits to Brooke and i!

1: buy the healthiest succulents so you can be sure to have a healthy start with your succulents!

2: put them in direct sunlight!
succulents love light! it will help them to grow healthy! i suggest putting them on your window sill like i do!

3: propagate!
meaning: carefully wiggle off the old leaves on your succulents, dry them out and then place them on good soil in an egg carton or tray etc, soon you'll see little baby succulents growing. propagating is my favourite, i just love it!

4: be very careful not to over water them! it is very tempting to water them but once every 2 weeks or whenever they look very dry will do!

5: use good soil to plant them in.
you don't want a really barky or dry soil, you want a good healthy juicy one, that definitely helps!

6: get lots of different types.
i like variety and it looks really cool to have lots of different ones together or seperate!

7: choose a great pot to put them in.
you don't want a boring old pot, you want something interesting! paint your pots or even buy cute ones at vintage stores or something!

they are all my succulent tips... for now!
