POSTCARDS FROM THE COROMANDEL

 the time has finally come for me to update you all about my new zealand trip!! i've told you abour queenstown, franz joseph and Nelson...now for the rest!!
after out week in nelson we flew over to auckland to meet our friends and go to their house. after a day or 2 at their auckland house we spent another few hours in a car going to their beach house on the coromandel coast..we spent a week there. it was really nice..exept that when we arrived it was POURING but the next day it was sunny again. on Christmas eve we went out to get a christmas tree and decorate it (late i know) Christmas day was lovely, we opened our pressies and then had a major cricket tournament (with my brother and i being the only aussies playing...very competitive) with a lunch break in between.
our week there was great ... but the water at the beach there is FREEZINGGGG!!
after auckland/coromandel we drove to Taupo for 2 days before we flew home.. the weather was crap..rained the whole time. but that's ok!! we went to see star wars and looked at all the shops and watched movies. on our last day in Taupo we drove out all the way to HOBBITON!! that was so fun! i'll talk about that in my post though.
